    I like the look of the deflectors, it breaks up the mass of gray of the front of the truck and will maybe help save the leading edge of the hood. I bought the AVS II as it screws into existing holes, no double sided tape needed on the body work. It's a good hunk of plastic, I think. The...

    Have you tried a different high quality cable? One of the easiest things to try and correct this. I had the same issues, it was a bad cable.

    On the outside? I would gently scrape it. Start with a plastic scraper, escalate if needed to a razor scraper.

    That is a good looking install, I like the thinking on a "dry box" charging location. The only thing is, I can't visualize where on the truck this is. Do you have a wider photo? Can you tell I don't have my truck yet? Otherwise I would just go outside to look. :) Cheers
