FordPass deleting messages

So, when I got the alert about going into deep sleep mode on the FordPass app my intention was to keep that message forever so I could track how often that happens.

I didnt delete the messages, but something / someone did. Woke up one day to that message and another one being deleted.

Is anyone familiar with any settings or defaults which would cause these messages to be auto deleted? Can a dealer or Ford delete them remotely?

I have to manually delete messages from my FordPass. They stay on there otherwise. It's not likely that they're deleting some messages and not others.

I was just about to post that you have to click on the message and read it before it would automatically delete.

I was just about to post that you have to click on the message and read it before it would automatically delete.

Apparently I was wrong. I just went to messages and briefly saw about four that I've never read and all the sudden they disappeared while I was looking at the screen. I know at least one of them was about a recall.

I haven't manually deleted any of them, yet the last one I show on there now is from November of 2022.
You could try to uninstall the app and then reinstall it...I've had to do that with other apps from time to time. There's plenty of sites that track recalls, which is why I believe it's unlikely that Ford is deliberately deleting them from the app...I have been using it to start the car on scheduled days and always get a message that it's been successfully started and I have to manually delete the messages, otherwise I have multiple screens of messages.

It's interesting...but I am still getting regular messages about my Mav...

I’ve had to screen shot those messages. Luckily, it hasn’t happened since the last customer satisfaction program where they replaced the cable.

Seems like it happened to me also.

At lunch I got two messages about "deep sleep mode". This was the first time I got it on my 2023.
At the time I didn't read them as I am familiar with them as I had a few of them on my 2022.

I manually charged the 12V battery from the 15% charge to 96% charge.

Today with your post I went and looked at Messages in my Ford Pass App and do not see them at all.
