Ford tracking shows truck arriving within a week?

The truck is in a convoy and the dealer is in Indianapolis. When I contacted ford customer chat, was told the truck arrived in Chicago rack or something and will reach the dealer on Feb 4th. Why will it go to Chicago first?

Mine was a few days after what they estimated and then online mine said it was delivered on 1/17 but the dealer said they didn't get it for another couple of days. It's an estimate. Also, they aren't shipping your vehicle solo. It's most likely on a transport with a lot of other vehicles and they have other stops. That's assuming it's off the rail car. If it's still on the train, that could be a drop location and picked up by a car transport service there.

In general, you should have gotten an email from Ford. In it should have had an order number and vin and a link to click for tracking. It shows, when it was accepted for build, build progress, built and then shipped and arrived at the dealer. This is the link from my email, not sure it will work for you. But if it does, you’ll need the Ford Order number you got and vin. https://www.ford.com/myaccount/vehicle-order-tracking

Mine was originally estimated 1/31 - 2/6, then moved to 2/4 - 2/10....then today moved earlier to 2/1 - 2/6

Where is this Ford Customer Chat where they told you specific info on the location?
