I chatted with Ford less than 2 weeks ago to see if there was any update on my order status. I got the generic response that my vehicle still had no VIN and no scheduled build date. I was out of the country last week and decided to chat with them today. I got a response that my Maverick had been built, was in transit, and is planned to be delivered to my dealer by April 20, 2022! Needless to say, I am in shock. Has anyone else had this experience? I received no emails from Ford indicating my build date or that it was on its way. I am a bit skeptical that somehow the person from Ford typed in a wrong number or something and it's not really true. I added my VIN to my Ford account and from what I can see, it looks like my truck. I plan on contacting Ford again tomorrow to confirm, but I am absolutely in shock. I have been preparing myself to receive the truck in September or October 2022.
I plan on calling my dealership tomorrow to see if Ford has decided to ship my truck without certain features/options due to chip shortages.
Build Info: Hybrid, XLT, Lux Package, Carbonized Gray, All Weather Mats

UPDATE: Searched for the vehicle using some of the tracking tools. Tracking website indicates this is a build for a Lariat Ecoboost. Similar options to mine, but definitely not my build. It is going to the same dealership as mine which has me worried that the dealership messed something up. Same confirmation date. Same color. Same options. Only issue is that it is not stating it is a Hybrid and that it is a Lariat instead of an XLT. I'm confused....
Update 2: Finally got a response from Ford today. It is not my truck. The dealership has multiple orders under one order number which likely confused the online chat agent. My truck is still in order processing with no VIN. I knew it was too good to be true.
