I think that is a smart move both from an EV infrastructure perspective and a environmental one. No one likes to talk about the environmental impact from the manufacturing of EV's.

I agree. Nobody wants to talk about it because it always turns political. I have an Ecoboost coming, but I think hybrid technology is pretty cool. I probably would have tried it if Ford had offered a hybrid AWD Maverick. But all electric vehicles have many environmental consequences that are anything but green. It has been forced upon automakers, and consumers obviously aren't making the jump in the numbers they had predicted. Ford can't continue to invest in products the customers aren't buying.
