You do know medically implanted electronic devices have been a thing for decades, right?
yes, pacemakers and such. Ever seen 1? They are encapsulated and/or shielded and certified safe as a medical device by FCC, CE, etc. A guy saying "I had a chip implanted in my hand" may or may not have had it done in a medically safe or certified way.

I don't blame people for being skeptical, before I researched everything in depth I had my objections too!

Besides, it's always nice for people to show objections in case maybe I overlooked something. I got it done by someone who was a human piercer and a veterinarian while being shadowed by my friend who is a hand specialist. Turns out the process is very similar to what you would do if you needed to chip your dog.

Sorry to derail the forum with my little implant comments, my question is answered for the ford key as a phone inquiry. Thanks for the replies everyone!
