No cutting of tonneau cover side rails is needed. I put tonneau cover foam under side rails, to be safe. It stays dry in the bed.

Likewise. The only shortcoming is the final panel (Ford tri-fold) can't lift up fully, but if I need to fit something that large it's only two wingnuts to just take the tonneau off. The tonneau cover rails/clamps also work to hold down the sports bar so I can retain the cargo rails.

I can see the bars being practical for me as an aid to pull up into the bed. My big feet slipped off the bumper and I almost got really hurt. Knee barley missed the bumper, man that woulda killed.

I step into that bed plenty, yard work, hauling etc...

But alas, it won't fit my Mav as it came with the bed rail/cleat system.

Such a bummer.

Here is a pic with the KC lights that I decided to go with. They match the Cyber Orange really well and the looks and smiles I get from Kids of all ages just makes my day. Smile faces seem to make everyone happy!

With a little moding of the rail, I don't see why it would not work. You might need to cut it in spots and add spacers so the rail goes behind it.

Hmm, or perhaps modify the brackets for the sports bar itself. I can see the lower bracket be an L shape versus the angle that it's at now and same goes for the upper bracket?

At $500-$750, the sports bar would be cheaper then knee surgery for sure.

Guys does anyone have an update on this? I'm wanting to add the Keko sports bar but I already have the bed rails system as my model is the Lariat and it comes default. Has anyone installed the sports bar with the rail system?

What holes does the bar use to attach in the bed. I can see in the top photo that I can see the factory holes so what the bracket attach to? I assume it uses the front two hole setup where there is a cargo hook? The photos from the Ford Instructions leaves much to understand.
