Ford Pass service issue

My Ford Pass is telling me I need to schedule an oil change now. It's only been one month and 150 miles since my last one.

The 92% seems weird, but the date and distance make me think you (or the dealer) did not reset the monitor after the last change.

Yep the Dealer probably did not reset the Oil Monitoring System.

photo clearly shows 92% oil life remaining, it was reset. must be a Pass glitch.

What is the info when you select the alert? Is it just what amounts to a tutorial pop up explaining when you should schedule it?

Nothing happens. Even though it looks like it should, no additional info comes up. It just stays on that page.

I received the same notice about a month after I did my oil change to and yes, I reset everything when I did the oil change. Mine showed 90% oil life.

Ford pass app is garbage.... I've had all my service done at Ford centres and it says there's no history of service. Ps - i drove my Mav 13 km where it has sat for a month and I'm down to 92% too

I had to reset my oil change myself this week after service. Easy to do.

Between how useless the app is, and how much of the data they harvest for your phone, it's not worth using.

The nearly exact message showed up on mine too.

Difference is, my Mav is 15 days old with 320 total miles. And my oil life says 100%.

Service link is dead, but I don’t have a preferred service center selected.

I’ve been considering an oil change at 1,000 miles, but this must be a glitch.

Between how useless the app is, and how much of the data they harvest for your phone, it's not worth using.

Yeah its harvesting so much it asks for location data when using the app oh my when I open an app they get a GPS ping well I am using the app.

It also harvests any email addresses, phone numbers, what other apps are installed and how much you use them and so much more. Ford was found to be one of the top data harvesters/re-sellers among car manufactures. I think only GM was ahead of them.
