I second the emotion. I installed one on my passenger side. The installation was a breeze, as it fit right in and the holes matched up. But getting there was a nightmare. The Line-X installers had sprayed over the torx screws that hold the tie-down padeye on, so I had to take it to Line-X to get them to remove the "concrete" spray. (The padeye has to be removed to install the cubby.) I would like to have gotten one for the driver side but my large storage bin blocks its access. (When I ordered my basic XL, I ordered the [cheapest] roll-up tonneau cover. I ordered an aftermarket storage bin to fit in the front of the bed, under the rear window. When my truck arrived, Ford had installed the upgraded 3-section folding tonneau' This prevented location of the bin up front, as the lid would not open. Luckily for me, by installing the bin against the driver-side rear of the bed, I can JUST clear the lid of the box with the tonneau folded all the way forward.) 'Sorry for the dissertation; I really like the cubby box; I had thought it was standard on the XL.Video of installing a factory Ford Storage Bin on my Maverick XL.

That is what I did.Thanks. I'd suggest doing the drives side to block some of the crud kicked up on the back side of the tail light.
