Ford Maverick vs. Honda Pilot

Since my mom currently owns a 2016 Honda Pilot, I have been wondering about the Ford Maverick being a replacement for our Honda Pilot that has just turned 6 last month, and I wanted it to compare a '16 Honda Pilot against the Ford Maverick.

Mmm, 2 different categories, hard to compare. Depends on your particular use case.
Will tell you this, if you are hauling people in the rear seat very often, maverick is not a best vehicle

7 passenger SUV compared to a 5 passenger truck...I guess it depends what you're trying to use it for. I have a Nissan Pathfinder and wouldn't replace it with a Maverick. 2 different uses for the vehicles.

I'll be using it for different purposes such as hauling cargo, off-roading, you know.

Maverick is a cheap truck. Pilot is a decently large SUV.
-how often do you need the 3rd row of seats? 2nd row of seats? (Mav is way less comfortable)
-how much does gas mileage matter?
-how often would you actually use the bed of a pickup?
