Even though my family doesn't own a Maverick, I was wondering if someone would make a Maverick ST build, so I decided to come up with the parts. This build will be based on the XLT EcoBoost.

-1. Replace the stock brakes with Brembo brakes. (Make sure the calipers are red!)
-2. Make the plactic cladding's color match with the rest of the body.
-3. Give it a carbon fiber hood.
-4. Replace the rims with something found on any ST model.
-5. Tune the engine with the Livernois 2.0 Turbo EcoBoost tuner.
-6. Replace some of the trimming in the interior with carbon fiber and make sure to replace the standard steering wheel with the Fiesta ST Mk8 steering wheel.
-7. Replace the standard seats with the Recaro racing seats.
-8. Give it the ST badges on the tailgate and the grille.

Once you've added everything on this list, you'll have the closest to a hypothetical Maverick ST.

I think there would be exhaust, intercooler, and air intake changes aswell. Probably minor changes though. But for the real ST package it would have to come with the Lincoln 2.3 turbo. I think 310hp with a soft tuning upgrade would be perfect with a warranty.

The Livernois Turbo EcoBoost 2.0 engine increases the power to 350hp.

Just curious - what does ST stand for? ....or is it not an acronym?

RS (ralleye sport) would be the one that would have the 2.3L ...

This discusses the Focus ST vs Focus RS and it's a really good read. Really shows the two different directions that Maverick owners can go when building a Maverick for Speed.

to me it's ST is light speed mods, like FX4 is light off road mods
then its RS is for heavier speed mods, like Tremor is a bit more capable off road.

Not with a trouble free warranty for years of use. Beef up to mild power with hard parts then let consumers tune em to the moon.

Let’s go whole hog!! Drop in a coyote with a 6 speed dual clutch manual and add a whipple supercharger.

really wasn't my intent in sharing the article. only wanted to point out differents in Focus ST and Focus RS and how they might relate to DIY Maverick ST/RS builds.

Coyotes are too wide and complex. Simple godzilla and a blower will suffice. Mounted in the bed with a V-drive to a swapped in IRS. Leave the fwd hybrid drivetrain intact. Yeah you lose cargo space, but you get all wheel drive and the potential for wheelies, and the ability to run in eco mode and get +35mpg(because of the added weight).
