Ford Bed-Track Crossbars

I'd like to use my kayak racks from my old car that had cross bars, and I'm thinking about getting these bars that ford sells that use the track system already in the bed.

Thoughts? I couldn't find any reviews or pictures of anyone using them on the forum. Also, I know there are plenty of other options to haul my kayaks, I'm looking specifically for reviews on this product.

I have them that I bought from a member on here, (i'd go that route as I don't think theyre worth $300) my only gripe is how far below the top of the bed they sit, and I'm having them modified so when installed they will be even with the top of the bed. (it's good to know folks who can fabricate/weld aluminum). Sitting below the bed might be good for kayak hauling though. I've found them to be plenty sturdy, 3 sheets of 3/4" plywood was maybe overloaded but had no issues. I think they have a 100# rating, but can't recall if that's each or combined?

@Don806 Thanks! I suppose they're kinda flush with the top of those tracks, I didn't think about that, but it'll work okay for my needs.
I'll snoop marketplace but at the least there's 15% off through the month.

I have a homemade drawer the width of the bed on fridge rollers, and with the rails, some stuff won't fit under the rails.

How short are your kayak's that a rack behind the rear window would work?

Just 10 foots with flat rear ends, it works to strap them with the tie downs, but I want it more secure and more storage room underneath
