Ford App country change

My Ford app quit working. Said I was in the wrong country. In live in Ga and the only way I could get it to work was to change country to Ireland. What's best way to correct that. Will not accept USA

Was that done connected thru your Wifi somewhere, or only using the phone cellular?

Either way - given an IP address for that connection, that must be in a database Ford uses, that states the location as Ireland.

Ford can't update that database - it's 3rd party.

Or they really do have a messup in their check and system right now - if happening to anyone else.

Hopefully it was cellular, as they can check the IP.
But get a picture of your phone's network details screen where it shows the IP address.

You might even look it up - but you'll have no idea who Ford uses, neither will anyone in tier 1 or 2 support likely know.

Would using a VPN based in another country confuse the Ford App?

Oh true - VPN phone app you don't even realize is enabled.
Then it wouldn't matter cellular or wifi connected - problem either way.

Perhaps OP was watching some Irish Netflix shows and forgot.

Good luck with that. The Ford app showed me living in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, lol. It fixed itself eventually.
