Anyone ever have success when ford responds and asks for your vin? The response I got from them was to talk to your dealer. Damn already did that! Thought it was a waste. Reminds me of "your call is important to us" when calling many companies.

I feel the same way. I had better luck contacting Ford customer care team directly. All the Ford account wanted on my posts was my Vin number and to advise me to take it to the dealer.

The Ford account here is specifically set up to stop people from complaining and try to make them take their vehicle in for service. It also randomly congratulates people on their purchase. Its a PR account, it can do nothing except recommend you take your vehicle in for service.

I can see that now. Thought they actually served a usefull purpose. My mistake. I had a small issue the dealer did not know the answer to. I mistakenly thought they could help. I would say just ignore them if they respond. Just a charade.
