Curious if anyone is having/had trouble with purchasing anything from Ford Accessories. I finally received my Lariat Hybrid after waiting 8.5 months. After driving it a couple weeks and researching a lot of sites, decided I wanted to add a tonneau cover. I spoke with sales reps at a few sites and decided I'd go with a hard roll-up. I liked the one on the Ford accessories website with the imprinted logo. With a memorial day sale Ford had, it brought the price down a couple hundred bucks to make it comparable to what Realtruck was offering me, so I went with Ford's. I ordered it on memorial day.
Fast forward to now June 17: They have charged my card the full amount even though it hasn't even shipped yet (charged June 7), nobody at their customer support center can even tell me if its on backorder, out of stock, or why it hasn't been shipped even though a label was created for it. They have escalated my case, but I've heard nothing. They say I was charged because I selected for it to be delivered to a dealership to save on shipping costs. Customer support has also said that I am unable to cancel my order so I can order through realtruck (who promised 2-3 day delivery). Also in order to be refunded I would have to take delivery of the item, ship it back, and then wait approximate 30 days to be refunded according to their customer support team I spoke with. Upon calling them again for clarification, they told me to call the dealership it is being shipped to and speak to the parts manager to see if he had any info. I called and spoke to the parts manager, he said he could see the order, but also had no idea why it hadn't arrived or shipped out yet as that was unusual 3 weeks out. So I'm still waiting for the cover to come in, I'll be installing myself. Disappointed in Ford after waiting so long for the truck and now they can't even get my tonneau cover to me though they were quick to charge me and take my money.
