Finally took delivery of my hybrid XLT with lux and cp360 three weeks ago! I am a scuba instructor and my latest class started the day after I took delivery so I put it through the paces by loading it with 18 steel and/or aluminum dive tanks that weighed 35lbs a piece, 18 sets of regulators and buoyancy compensators, and about 100lbs of dive weights in the bed. That's probably about 950lbs plus me at 200 so approximately 1150lbs.
The mav did great and was able to accommodate it by double stacking tanks or triple stacking. The 18 sets of gear fit perfectly behind the tanks so they didn't move at all despite going freeway speeds. I didn't feel like the mav slowed that much. It definitely sat a little lower but not too much.
Having the spray in bed liner made it much easier to not damage or scratch the gear as well as the truck. For the scuba divers, I would highly recommend it!
