I've seen a few people mention using them but it looks like Crutchfield thinks the magnet is too large, if I'm reading their info correctly.

I'm using the Focal rse165 up front and I believe these are the voice match. And they're in sale so I'm thinking why the heck not. I think people have used 4x6 so surely these really do fit without any real issues ...?

No one? Guess I'll buy them and modify if necessary. 🪚

I used the Kicker 47KSC404 from Crutchfield. Works fine but I'd be curious to know how those Focals worked

Did you ever get the focal 4 inch for the pillar? I'm very curious because I just got my maverick and really like the focal acx 100 for the rear. Thanks

no, after looking at more pics and videos of others swapping them, I decided to leave them stock. my 17 year old sits in the back often and we both enjoy music fairly loud. I've sat back there and adjusted the fader so the rear speakers aren't too intrusive.

I prefer a traditional front center soundstage and I actually thought about disconnecting the rear speakers entirely. I can't fade them completely out because I'm using the sub output from the factory b&o amp and it will fade the sub with the rear speakers, which I think is a pretty bad design choice.

no problems with the depth of the magnet? Crutchfield says it won’t fit. I’d prefer going focals though..
I didn't have any problems with them. I used the standard adapters like this for the rear pillar speakers and the tweeters. They are available from other brands. These fit, you just have to line up the contacts and pay attention to the polarity.

These adapters fit the door speakers.
