Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust Install Video

Another install! This time, for what I believe is my first-ever full bolt-on exhaust system that I purchased. All my other exhausts on any other vehicle I've owned have been fully custom lol. So I was intrigued as to how this would go, and I'm happy to say that it went well. It came with the options of either a side-exit or rear-exit tailpipe. I went with the side because it flowed better with the truck IMO.

This sytem came with really good instructions. So good in fact, that I finished the install alone in just a little over an hour on jack stands! The video is to help visualize the instructions a little more. It sounds great too! Reminds me of my Focus STedan exhaust that I had which was a nice deep tone on the low end with a nice rasp on the top end!



For the price VS other exhausts on the market, I'm very happy with how easy the install was and how the final product came out! Cheers!

I miss my Area 51 XL quite often. I love my new EG XLT but I bought it off the lot whereas my 23 XL was made for me.

Total was 482 after taxes

How's the cabin interior drone?

It drones a decent amount on the low end under load but once you get to cruising speeds, it mellows out quite a bit. Still there obviously but not terribly loud like other exhausts I’ve had in the past.
