I took my daughter to the Ford dealership this weekend. We were exploring some of the new cars, including the Mach E. When we opened the frunk, I noticed the all too familiar FITS slots. The Mach-e has at least two of them. Both are in the frunk.
I was surprised. I searched the manual for that car. I didn’t see anything mentioned. I’d be surprised if any of the owners actually know what they’re used for.

I think its to place 3D printed items like the backside of the center console or the inside of the storage compartment in the Mav.

Understood. I guess what I was saying is that Ford created a specific FITS package that was designed for the Maverick. With adoption by other models, including more expensive models, I would assume that Ford would continue to release new items as well. It's great to have 3rd party products, but Ford should be making more of their own too.

I bet some people on the Mac-E forum already used these once they found out about it.
