My family owned a ranchero wagon and an F100, and outside of one plymouth, my old man owned only fords (his 1984 F150 was my favorite), and I forgot to mention that my son is driving my mom's last car, an 1998 exploder. While I have owned a few too many non-fords, and despite exploding gas tanks, shoddy tires, and dull as a rusty knife designs, they have been solid cars. Replacing the wheels is a solid move. I have done so many mods to my truck, and have quite a few more to go, the only regret I have is buying a fwd hybrid. I should have gotten the awd hybrid. Otherwise, I love my truck.
