First few mods on the Maverick Tremor

Ok I've had my Tremor for a week now & have done a few minor mods. Installed some wheel locks from Ford, center console organizer, stubby carbon fiber antenna, I hated that long antenna, its 8" long vs 3", tinted the 2 front windows to match the rear windows, tinted the sunroof with a clear tint & the windshield with a clear tint. The tint material used was a 3M titanium film which blocks the damaging uv sun rays & keeps the truck alot cooler. I also plan on installing the hood & tailgate struts this weekend. Well there you go, a good start. The next purchase will be a high-quality dash cam. So doing some research on it, & so far I like the Viofo A139 Pro & the BlackVue DR900X-2 channel.

What frequency did you lose when you change the antenna?

I kinda wanna take mine off and just rock the shark fin since I only listen on my phone through bluetooth

No frequency lost, i tested Pandora & FM radio (Which I don't listen to) & it comes in fine. I'm just not sure if you just remove the antenna. I'm sure it won't work as efficiently because that base was designed to go with an antenna. Try it out & see what happens.

For what it's worth, Pandora uses your cell phone's radio, so it doesn't use the vehicle's antenna at all.

Off to a good start, pretty much all the same things I've done to mine, except I did raptor lights in the first week too. I think the Tremor is the most deserving of raptor lights out of all the mav packages

I took off the antenna completely and no loss in reception. But of course I live in a major city so Fm signals are everywhere

Nice Bro! I just got mine a while back. This is everything I have done minus adding LED strips under dash and seats.
