Thanks, I couldn't get through to my dealership, so I called back Ford and they did say May 2nd scheduled date but I have no email to show this. I'm thinking I should just be happy that I finally have a vin as maybe they are struggling to keep up with communication?

Probably this summer. We still have May, June, July, August, maybe September build months not scheduled yet. You have time and you will get a 22MY build.

UPDATE!!

Received email from Ford at 2:32 AM this morning, stating my truck has been built, and is waiting shipping to Long McArthur Ford, with an arrival window of 3-9 May. As for the assigned salesman at LM, the only conversation I have had with him is when I have started the conversation via text message. I will have a discussion with said salesman when I pick up my vehicle, as he has done NOTHING to keep me informed of the progress on my build. Tim, if you read this, contact me privately, and I will provide the name of the absentee salesman.

Got my email yesterday for production 23 May 2022! FE, Rapid Red, Lariat Lux, Co-pilot360. Ordered 30 Aug 2021...8 months ago! Hope to get it before my RV trip to Alaska departing 30 June!

My Rapid Red FE with no other options was scheduled for 5/9 build, next week email with 5/2 date, next week email with 5/9 again and then this week another email with 5/16 date

If you didn't catch it last night on my live stream, I mentioned that the First Edition will need to get scheduled in the 22MY production and that they will build them all. I also stated that Ford will probably make sure they all get scheduled in a certain week. Looks like that might be this week.

I did ask my sales person to do so last week.

The same sales person latter told me that Ford wants the 360 & LUX removed as well.

I not sure what Ford wants from it's customers but now seems never ending at this point.

His doesn't understand, tell him that you can't remove those packages because they are required for the first edition. But please remove the splash guards and nothing else.

What would be the purpose of removing the 360 & Lux packages? You'd end with a Maverick that wasn't what you wanted! Personally, I wouldn't drop either one of those packages because Ford has to produce all 1st Edition trucks for MY22 so it's up to them to either build it or offer you some serious compensation to switch to a MY23 Maverick. I'd also be writing to Corporate Customer Experience Office!
