I know this may be a personal preference, but I’m curious to see what members have decided when it came to purchasing their Maverick. Did you take advantage of the special financing programs like 0% for 36 months or 0.9% for 48 months to own the vehicle? Or did you lease the vehicle for 36 or 48 months or longer? Of course there are pluses and minuses to both routes being a new vehicle and a strange financial climate in a covid atmosphere with limited inventory I am trying to decide what may be the best move? Thanks!
I already paid for mine and waiting like the rest.

incorrect again. I'm gaining an item I really want using $ I never had to work for and don't have to make payments on or w/d from retirement accounts. Tell you what, I'll do me and you do you!
Lol. You do you, but it's 100% true correct that you are in fact making a payment. Just one really big one.

The biggest thing for me is keeping the monthly payments low. I also have to consider that this truck is something I may want to keep for more than 3 years as it’s practical. But the flip side is it is a new model and there is always the chance for potential issues.
Regardless if you keep the truck you will be paying for a good portion of it. You can always sell the vehicle if you decide it isn’t right for you. The lower the payment however may leave you upside down on it. Low payment means you need to keep the vehicle for the long haul.

Call a few credit unions and see if you can get a 2 percent loan for 72 months. This will give you a low payment.

You could also look into a Home Equity Loan to pay on it over a longer period of time. This of course will increase your total cost 💲 but lower your monthly payment.

I don’t particularly recommend payment shopping. If you can’t afford it buy a cheaper vehicle or go without.

As for issues on a vehicle. ANY year of ANY car could be full of issues. There is always potential for problems and if you can’t get over that you will buy new every 3 years to stay inside a warranty.

Interest rates due to change today 1/03/2022? The ford build page says interest rate is good to 1/03/2022, when will the new rates become visible any ideas? I ask because I’m heading to the dealership today to pickup my Maverick.
