Well, after waiting about 11 months for my order, I finally had enough! I was fortunate enough to find a brand new Maverick in-transit to a dealer that was virtually identical to my original build—so I went for it!!
Couldn’t be more happy with it right now. This is my first brand new vehicle, and it’s absolutely gorgeous and runs great.
2024 XLT Hybrid—Hot Pepper Red, luxury pkg, copilot 360, and black appearance pkg.
Wasn’t planning to get the black appearance package with my original builds, but it looks PHENOMENAL. Loving it.
So far I’m averaging 38-39 mpg, with my bests being 58 driving into town one way, and 78 over another long (20 ish mile) stretch that was predominantly down hill.
Big shout out to Future Ford in Sacramento—they honored MSRP and made the entire process easy and friendly. I normally hate working with dealerships but it was a very smooth and enjoyable experience.
Here’s hoping all of you have a good experience with yours, or already have!
