Finally got Maverick XL

After almost 11 months to the date me and my wife picked up our 24 Maverick XL Hybrid. It is very quiet in which can barely hear the engine running whether in gas or electric mode. It is also very comfortable although ride home was only 12 miles from dealership. There was hardly any road noise as cabin was very quiet. Next is to schedule to get front windows tinted, get spray bedliner and tri-fold tonneau cover. So far although only rode in it home as my wife drove it..am happy with it!!

Me: '24 hybrid - In my experience, there is a break-in period for the hybrid components. It took mine about 2k miles for the electric whirring sounds to subside. So it will get even quieter.

Learn to use the regen brake coach by anticipating stops to get 100% regen braking as often as possible. During the summer, I am reliably getting 42-45 mpg. It will decrease in colder weather. Enjoy!

yeah it happened to me and then ended up getting Maverick on one of the original dates scheduled

My XL Hybrid has been on order since May, and the production date was just pushed out another week. Is it common for this to happen multiple times?

I had a false alarm a day or 2 ago, I received a window sticker with my build + a couple other things that I did not order. Turns out that it was a VIN that was not quite mine. wonder if they will ship the wrong truck in the end? JK, but I wonder if this is indicative of their quality control?
