Wh6 anyone would say trade 'worrying' about a battery that gets you 40 to 50 MPG for AWD is beyond my comprehension. I've driven hybrid Fords for nearly 10 years with C-Max (my current one has over 100k miles) and they are trouble free, no diminution in charge (have one plug in) and amazing mileage. My Lariat hybrid was subjected to a 3200 mile trip right out of the box as it was picked up from a south Fla dealer and driven to Southern CA to avoid 10k over MSRP (and to get it the way l wanted) after a 13 month wait. Zero issues and the battery would be the last thing l would 'worry' about. At first she was a little upset she wasn't getting the hybrid, but for terms of long term ownership not having the battery to deal with will be nice. Now only have to worry about the AWD system![]()
