Final Prep Process

My 2023 Xlt has been “in final preparation” for days, and the dealership hasn’t even notified me yet to tell me it’s there. Does anyone know what the final prep process is or what they do? After waiting over a year I would think they could atleast call me to come look at the car so I can see if I even like it. Trying to be patient but also biting my tongue…

They do a PDI (pre delivery inspection). I messaged my dealer the second it arrived on the tracker, they advised they’d call when it’s ready. Should only take a day. Took my dealer 2 business days due to coming in on a Friday. Ready to check it out on Tuesday the following week. I’d say reach out and see what they say.

Call your salesperson ( and I use that term loosely ) and find out what is goin on with your truck !!!! Shouldn't take that long unless they are doing some sort of recall.

Shouldn't take very long at all. My Bronco Sport arrived late Monday night and I picked it up at noon on Tuesday.

Call them to see what's up. I picked mine up three days after it arrived at the dealer.

The tracker could be buggy. They could have several vehicles needing it (especially if some were stock they are prepping to sell), they could be short handed. But they could be doing something shady so I'd reach out to them asap.

Final prep consists of a short test drive, removing all the plastic, checking fluids and tire pressures, and washing it.
