This is my Maverick but the dual square exhaust is just drawn in. I was looking at the bumper and seems it could be opened up fairly easily where I have the dual exhaust coming out. Not super simple, but certainly not impossible. I haven't look deep into the idea, so I could be crazy here too.
I like the square idea as it's unusual, and square is more fitting with the shape of the Maverick.
I see the project as removing the muffler, then adding a glass pack upstream farther where there's some room, and then splitting the round into the 2 squares outlets where the pipe passes by where the spare tire is. I'm just dreaming here as nothing will happen until warm weather gets here, but I like this as it looks cool, and it keeps the pipes up higher all the way.
And based on a video I saw of a 2.0 EB Fusion that made this same general mod, the sound would be much improved.

Maybe to heat up a trailer???
I'm actually looking into having a custom 3" exhaust with quad 3.5" tips made for my Mav when it comes to the dealer in 3-4 months, so far folks here are not enthusiastic about the idea, but I think if I do it right it'll have a nice deep rumble/tone to it.
It's not going to be quite like my WRXs sound, but should be similar, as the 2019 WRXs are using an equal length header, but there a flat 4, not a straight 4, so regardless it'll sound different, but we wont know till we try XD. Either way I am looking forward to the *experiment* lol.
