Bought my Mav back in August this year and have been lurking here almost every day since then, figured I might as well join up!

Traded in a 2014 Chevy Volt for a 2022 Maverick Hybrid Lariat in Carbonized Gray. Been loving it so far and it's been perfect fit for the home improvement, camping, fly fishing, and beer fest duties my cars have to perform.

I'm not really a guy who likes to add mods or lots of accessories so nothing super exciting in the works there but I do have plans to switch to AT tires whenever it's time. I am also considering replacing the OEM tri-fold tonneau with a roll up and maybe adding a bed rack system with a few additional items that would make the light dispersed camping I do a little easier.

Looking forward to getting to know you all better and learning more about our trucks!

Photos are from the first day I brought it home and from it's first big road trip out to Colorado for some fly fishing earlier this fall!

It's crazy that the auto world is getting around to the Volt ten years later. All the EREVS - they're pretty much Volt architecture.

Welcome to the club, Evil!

Perhaps one of the best mods is to add a Maverick Truck Club decal so you can properly “represent.”

See details at Maverick Truck Club Decal (Transfer) ($6 delivered)

Congrats again on getting your Mav and thanks for considering.

The trip was great! I fished the South Platte and Clear Creek in Golden. I did catch some fish, mostly brown trout. The mountain scenery was super beautiful and the aspens were still at peak color!

Before the trip, I had poked fun at sport mode on the hybrid for its “shifting” but it was actually a blast on the mountain roads.
