I was thinking a plastic shim.

If I were OCD
I would buy the shims outright and attempt to silence the rattle myself.

I believe there are shims that are put in to stop the rattle.
Perhaps this will help.

Here is some added information.

Both a 12v fix and this in one day? Ford is actually paying attention.

My Maverick is an XLT. I took the one person suggestion to use a matchbook instead of the screwdriver and it does a Great job and doesn't fall out
