Estimated delivery window question

So the Ford tracker is giving me a window between November 25th and December 1st for delivery, well I just got an update from the dealership informing me that it is on the train in New Mexico.

Inspections are done, and its obviously in the country, think it may be possible it gets here before November 25th? Can't imagine it would take that long by rail.

Depends on your area, and how many dealers have trucks on that train. My truck has been at the Atlanta rail delivery center almost 2 weeks waiting to be delivered to my dealer. You could get lucky and it get to your dealer early like others on here, or you could be waiting like me with the Ford Tracker saying 11/6 for the ETA.

Yuck so your truck is in your state and you have been watching it stuck for 2 weeks. Not very encouraging, I am up in Michigan.

Going north on the 13th, seeing it in country so soon kinda made me hopeful that it could make it here before then, would love to take it north, but knew that was being a little to hopeful.

That being said if it gets here early it will absolutely be while I am up north LMAO. That's my luck.

Yep. My Hybrid I ordered in June has not been scheduled yet. So...I am taking delivery of the first stock order at my dealer. Its an Ecoboost in white but with the same packages. Its been a LONG two weeks let me tell you. My sales guy is tired of hearing from me at this point

LOL I'm sure thats pretty common for the dealers. I know the owner of the dealership I am getting mine from, we are not close but he has been very quick in responding to my texts he gave me his personal line, and he has had his lot manager talk with me, going to reach out to him.

The estimated delivery seems to vary quite a bit. My ETA per the tracker was originally showing 10/30-11/5 and now that range has disappeared from the tracker, presumably because it will not actually arrive within that window.. I was really hoping to get mine earlier considering the first Maverick orders to my dealer all showed up well ahead of Ford's ETA.

I know the Ford tracker is giving some pretty general information, it just says shipped and and the delivery window. The dealership let me know it was in New Mexico

I have two that were shipped a week apart. First one shipped 10/1 (I assume since that's when that dealership called to tell me it shipped) and is still not here. Tracker now says delivery date ETA 12/4. I wasn't sure if that dealership had even ordered my truck because I never got a confirmation email and the salesman was unresponsive to my questions so I found a better deal and a more responsive sales staff at a different dealership and ordered through them. I received my confirmation email immediately on that order. That one shipped 10/6 and the delivery window ETA has changed from 10/21-10/28 to 11/2-11/8. No clue where the hold up is. I'm in Southern Indiana.

I live 4 hours from Hermosillo, Mexico but still have to wait the couple weeks to get it shipped to me…if it ever gets built and released for shipment.

My ETA per the tracker just updated this morning, now showing an ETA of 12/7. It was originally showing 10/30-11/5, then that went to TBD earlier this week. Not sure what's holding it up, it shipped 3 weeks ago.

If it arrives 12/7, that would mean 7.5 weeks of being in-transit. The early orders to my dealer (Granger) seemed to only be in transit for 2-3 weeks.

yuck not instilling me with much confidence.

At least theirs has shipped. Mine has been being built for a solid month now, and even tho I only live 6 hours from Hermosillo, my ETA is now 11/27.

Mine shipped 10/9, supposedly, with a delivery window of 10/31-11/06. Last I heard was last week when I reached out to my dealer hoping he knew more than me - he didn't. Dealer anticipated a delivery of 11/06, but that's tomorrow now and I'll be shocked if it comes in.

I'm in Southern Indiana. Really sucks that Ford has opted to build these exclusively in Mexico. It's one of my few hang-ups with the whole thing.

Well, I suppose that at least we're learning something here.
As excited as many of us are for Ford to move towards a direct to consumer model where they cut out the dealer, they are NOWHERE near that point yet. Their tracking/overall electronic update system IS TRASH.
