. Most of these so called SUVS are just cars period. It's marketing because millennials don't want to drive station wagons, mini vans, or sedans.

They may call them SUVs, but many are just station wagons with bigger tires. I know some who looked down on 'Soccer Moms' driving mini-vans, and instead of a van, she drove a station wagon with a different label, apparently to protect her self-image.
They are STATION WAGONs for the most part. Even some with 4WD!
