It’s definitely not a “check engine“ light it shows what percentage of power what is coming from the 2.5L Engine and below it, it shows what percentage of power is coming from the hybrid battery

The right side check engine light is what I’d pay attention to when illuminated

The "Power %" at the bottom is your clue. Above 0 is ICE power (engine symbol). Below 0 is battery (battery symbol).

You have two questions regarding basic stuff on your truck. Acquaint yourself with the manual. You don't have to read it all, but at least take the time to learn what's where in it so you can answer your burning questions.

The engine Icon you are referring to is bright white when ICE is engaged and greys out or dims when running on Electric only. Very subtle, but there it is.

You are 100% correct! It is very annoying how SUBTLE it is, because it is nearly imperceptible when you look at it, but didn't see it change. I wish Ford would either black it out when the ICE is off, or maybe make it blue when in Electric mode. Make it something that is easy to see. I have other ideas for Ford that would make it much nicer for us the end user of these trucks. Anyone know how I can provide that feedback to Ford? I've reached out to my dealer, but they have yet to get back to me....
