Seems Ford will use any reason to not honour warranty.
What are you basing this statement on?

Only Honda civics and Jeeps are modified aftermarket more often than Ford SUVs and trucks.

Lift kits, light bars, aftermarket speakers / amp / radios all modify a vehicle much more than adding a fuse tap with a timer module.

And none of these have ever voided any warranty that I'm aware of.

Removing this module is as simple as unplugging the fuse, and plugging the original fuse back in. It does not interfere with the programming of the truck in any way shape or form. Highly unlikely it could void a warranty, bless the installer has a seizure while tapping a wire and cuts every single wire in the harness...

In which case it's probably better that they aren't driving anyways.

I never use Eco.

I primarily use Slippery. Always with EV coach.

Slippery is great in the city any time you want to coast with minimum "drag" on your speed & momentum.

It has helped me go 800 miles on a tank two times, 700 miles on a tank several times in the CITY drive.

I use Eco all the time because I like the braking effect. I have commented on another post that I doubt I will ever need to do a brake job.

I believe the claims of better gas mileage in Slippery mode. When I have tried it I need to brake a lot harder and more often. My thoughts are, a brake job is more expensive than the cost of gas I might save using Slippery.

remember braking is using the electric motor to slow down just like eco mode does.

Eco seems to, but that is not necessarily a good thing.

Coasting > Regen > Braking

Edit: I may have misunderstood your question. Eco (apparently) provides greater Regen when lifting off the accelerator.

Regen during braking seems to be mostly affected by operator braking technique.

Yep, the wide pedal is the Regen pedal, and changes to friction braking when Regen is inadequate or the battery is full.
