Dumb auto lamps question

When using the auto headlights on an XLT, which lights come on during the day and at night?

in stock setting the DRLs (front headlights only) are on during the day when the vehicle is in gear but that's with or without auto lamps on. That can be configured in the center dash screen menu. When auto setting is selected all the exterior lights will come on once it reaches a certain level of darkness and off when its light enough. When the wipers are on all the exterior lights also come in regardless of auto lamp setting.

Thank you. I installed some side markers/turn signals in the fender badge.That's a little too on and off and I didn't want to tap into the headlights themselves, so I went to the side marker in the bumper for the running light.
