OP here. I started this thread to share an experience. I'm from Northern California. Now living in Ohio. New roads. New experiences. We all have our favorites.

Have had great fun on the Dragon, and that whole area, on motorcycles. Haven't ever driven it.

Simple, simple secret to the Dragon: just go early in the morning on a weekday. You'll have the road all to yourself, and the cops won't be out to bother you (they'll be more likely to wave at you).

I find everyone who hates the road goes on a Saturday afternoon and crawls behind a parade of dentist-owned Harleys and RVs. The early birds, however, have a wonderful, refreshing start to their riding day...

the fun roads in ohio are in the se 1/4. i start in bolivar on the bike and down and to the right!

To be fair, riding the Dragon in rain at 9pm in late December was pretty open too!
