šŸ¤“ šŸ¤” OK, might be my fault for kicking back for a bit, I had not been keeping up with all the goings on with the Maverick (6days) and I have yet another recall notice in my mail, but this time on theā€drivers seat, seat belt buckleā€??? Has anyone else seen this yet?

There's multiple threads already. It's a Customer Satisfaction Program, not a recall.

If your driver's seatbelt sensor fails (which'd trigger an airbag light, but not affect the system's operability) there's extended coverage for its replacement under warranty.

Correct. It is not a recall.

Yes,seems like you don't " have " to have it taken care of but if its an issue down the road ford will repair it for free. That's the way I read it anyway.

I just went in for my 5,000 mile oil change at my dealer. I asked them to do this "recall" at the same time. They said since I've never had any issues with it that it didn't need to be fixed. Apparently IF I do have a sensor light go on, then to notify them. Absolutely no safety issue.
