Drive-in experience

We go to the drive-in theater often and I've found certain vehicles to be more drive-in "friendly" than others. I'm wondering what experiences folks have had taking their Maverick to the drive-in. I am particularly curious about headlight/parking lights, distracting interior lights, battery performance through a double feature, etc..

The drive-in we like to go to has told us they don't care about what food we bring in. But we always try to spend money on their concessions anyway cuz that's how they make money.

Only dark if turned off. Too many lights inside and out with running truck. Truck bed fits a full sized mattress perfectly with tailgate down. Sides are lower than other trucks so better views. Radio only lasts a few minutes so bring your own. Got a jumpbox with a radio so I will use that.

We have 4 within an hour drive. One drive-in has 6 screens. A lot to choose from!

I Reversed into the spot and set up some pool floats in the bed of the truck. put the vehicle in Acc mode and turned the lights off. i then opened the back sliding window as well as the driver and passenger windows to give the all around sound experience.
the accessory mode shut off one time partly though each movie, but it wasnt a hassle to hope back up there and restart the Acc mode. i started the car inbetween each movie just to charge up the battery just in case

Unfortunately, of the 10 in Florida, the nearest one to me is almost 2 hours away.

Love the drive in with the maverick. Having an outlet in the back to plug in a fan, etc is great. I use a portable radio and am air mattress in the bed. The outlet also inflates the mattress.

no issues turning the lights off. just turn the dial to the left of the steering wheel.
