My Maverick was delivered on 1-7 and I drove it all winter and now into the spring around northwest Pennsylvania. My rear window has never even fogged up. I see no need for a rear defroster.

Actually the Colorado fits my needs better since I move a fair amount of things and I have a 12 and a half foot kayak. That being said, it has 130,000 miles and it is the oldest and highest mileage vehicle I have ever had. It has been a great truck and I have spent very little on repairs. Just getting nervous about such an old vehicle, but the biggest reason is the price of gas.
130,000 miles is nothing! I currently have a 2006 Escalade with 224K and a 2011 Malibu with 229K. My wife's 2016 Outlander is the "new" car with 110K. Like others have said that one is just getting broken in.

With regular oil changes and routine maintenance I expect 200K reliability from today's vehicles.

130k is nothing. That Colorado will take you another 100k easily--no reason to be nervous at all. I'm in a 2008 (same gen), and currently sitting at 225k. If I could get there same truck over again new, I would. But the new Colorados have too many issues for me, and the size change is significant.

I'm getting a Mav for the improved fuel efficiency, the crew cab to move my dogs around more comfortably, and because the price point is right.

I put 300,000 + miles on a '98 Mazda B2300 pick up, which was essentially a Ford Ranger with a different nose. It remains my favorite vehicle of all time. Hoping my Maverick someday compares to that; So far, (1,000 miles) it's on the right track....
