Downshift Thump?

Anyone notice a thump on the downshift around 2nd gear? My wife has a Bronco Sport that does the same thing though. Is this normal for this transmission/Driveline or should it be a concern. This is of course under city driving but I'm sure it's all the time. 2.0 Eco Boost XLT in "Normal" mode.

My wife's Escape did that for a bit right after we got it but then it stopped. Not sure if they updated something during one of the recalls or if the transmission "broke in" but I haven't experienced it for over a year now. Seems to run fine. Like all car manufacturers, they struggle with getting 45 mph at a good gear ratio as it feels a little grindy.
