Zip code, birthday, last 5 digits of a phone number. I'm in Canada but use a U.S. zip code of a place we would visit. I also programmed in the last 5 digits of my grandson's phone to make easy for him when he borrows the truck. (mine is the hardwired and will accept 5 different codes.

Some of you guys must live in a dystopian hell. The reason I have a Mav is because my first-gen Tacoma was stolen, so I understand the problem, but I don't see bands of roving thieves punching random numbers into Ford keypads.

Maybe I wasn't clear. I wasn't asking for password suggestions. I was just askng how many numbers the code is. That way we could come up with a number.

They don't have to. They use an antenna and it will detect your key fob, relaying then signal to the truck and then their fake program with a fake key will keep the truck running. All they have to do is walk around your house, usually to the front door.
