Could be so many different variables. I believe mine spent two weeks in the Chicago area, took a month and a week to get to Virginia from Mexico.

Sounds like it's hard to predict deliveries. They tend to sit somewhere for a few weeks during the course of the journey

Yeah 12 days isn't to bad. Mine spent 21+ days at the Chicago Heights ramp. Google street view shows a crap load of vehicles at this ramp so I'm guessing your location is similar.
