I looked for this or something similar and could NOT find it about all the options that ForScan exposes at least on the friendly screens. I dont know why it was so hard to make the UI of ForScan better.
Doc was created with Win 10 Wordpad.

Link to the smaller file size Open Office format (both are the same). I don't know why Google Docs thinks this is 150pages, its 50 and mostly screen shots (the extra pages seem to be large font versions of the pasted screenshot that are blank):

https://docs.google.com/document/d/...ouid=118413403188849313761&rtpof=true&sd=true

Win 10 WordPad can open either one but does not support "Open With" at least as far as I can tell.

Please advise here if the links don't work. It should be open to anyone with a link and I wont be responding to request for access. I already made that mistake.

Open Office XML is attached. RTF version is too large for this platform. If any errors are found, I will probably only fix on the Google Drives version. Never Mind. If I upload a fixed version, it will probably get a new GUID. I would have done it all in Google Docs but there is no clipboard support there. I checked.

EDIT: 17 May - Fixed Link and some formatting.
EDIT: 19 May - Added lots that i missed about the Body Control Modules details to the Google Doc version. Attached Open Office does not have these. Removed the RTF version.

Appreciate your efforts. When I get my Maverick back, I'll look into this and see what kind of tweaks, I could make. I added sport mode to the tremor but I do want to add TSR traffic sign recognition. I can't think of much else for the XLT. Unless you know about adding the Ford Performance background to Instrument Cluster screen

This is great! Thank you! I have an adapter and the laptop - I just need to get the software installed and give this a try - I'm leery - cause I don't wanna brick my Twuck!

i am also leery. Just did my first fill-up.

High Value / Low Risk Change - In the IPC friendly/decoded section. Set the SEATBELTMARKET from USA to EUROPE.

No CHIME on startup. Warning screens on cluster do NOT show up until about 12 MPH. Same with chimes Silence until about the speed where the doors auto-lock. 90% confident that the cluster monitor disappeared as soon as I clicked the belt (No need for OK, No lingering Green check).

Ignore above Strike-thru. Maybe I was not paying close enough attention because the Instrument Panel Cluster screens are back. Two OKs to clear "Read to Drive" and Seatbelt Fault. No chimes though; so progress?

It did NOT change the 720-13-xx or 720-14-xx that I expected.
I did a compare between ABTs from USA and EUROPE (they are just text files)
USA is
;Block 1
720G1G1040A100462AD
720G1G200274091

Europe is
;Block 1
720G1G1040A100462AD
720G1G200274293

I have no idea what that encoding is. G is not even a HEX #. If I was REALLY ambitious I could compare screenshots of the IPC As' Built, but my eyes aren't great, I am not ambitious, I might find a change and miss something else as it rather confusing.

So much nicer with a tablet and bluetooth keyboard.

Found a refurbished Surface 3 (not Pro) Win 10 Pro, Atom 7 processor 4GB of RAM on Amazon for about $100. Already had the bluetooth keyboard. The tablet has a 4 position kick stand so that you can put the full-sized USB port on the left near the OBD-II interface. The power and volume buttons are now on the bottom but no interference was detected.
It's a bit bigger than I might prefer and does not fit nicely on the top of the dash. I might put some anti-skid on the tablet so it's more stable on top of the dash.
Micro USB port on tablet only does charging but worked with USB on center console so it would work even if the tablet battery is dead but my battery is fine.
Minor quibble, my phone has a stylus. The tablet touch screen did not react so I had to do fingers only. Some interactions with forscan I did in portrait mode and had to reach through the steering wheel with my fat fingers against some pretty tiny icons. I have my own issues with what a terrible UI Forscan presents but I will rant about that over there.
