Definitely not good enough. Just bought a 2025 XLT Hybrid for my wife and we received almost 4.5k off the MSRP.
As mentioned by others the 26 are already on the lots as well.

This is supposed to be a hybrid Lariat, it has the keypad.
Sorry, this is incorrect. The 2024 Hybrid Lariat does not have the keypad built into the door.

The only way to have a keypad on that make/model/year is to get the stick on pad version.

Source = I own a 2024 Hybrid Lariat

$3500 is not! a good deal. I got $4000 off in July 2024 right before the 2025 was announced. I told them I could get 3% off a new order from Granger motors and flying to pick it up would still net save me money.

My two cents is ask to get it out the door for the same price as a used one, get $4000-$5000 off a 2025 or just custom order one from Granger for 3% off invoice.

When I bought my Maverick, the dealer automatically knocked $3,000 off because it was one of three remaining MY24s still on the lot. They wanted to make room for the MY25s (which they said they were getting more demand for because of the hybrid AWD option). I was also given $1,500 in rebates for being military/law enforcement and switching from another major brand (Subaru). So out the gate I had $4,500 knocked off the price. Then on my trade-in I got $1,500. By the time all was said and done, I was out the door with the truck and an 8 year/85k mile warranty for right about $30,000.

I'm approaching one year of ownership and so far I've been happy with my purchase. I was weighing the Maverick vs the Nissan Frontier, and the $4,500 in discounts and rebates tipped the scales for me. It was too good of a deal to pass up at that price. Without my extended warranty I think I would've been around $27k. Only you can determine if that $3,000 discount is worth it to you. For me, I found it to be very valuable in my decision to purchase the Mav over something else.

Just an update for anyone who is curious...

When I began this thread in January this dealership had about 20 2024 Mavericks in stock.
On the lot for about 2 years. I checked today and all the 2024 Mavericks are gone.
Looks like they got rid of them in 2 months. So either they offered a deep discount or the
trucks were sold to other dealerships. Interesting, huh?

I wonder what the resale value is for a 2024 with low mileage from a private owner is compared to a 2024 that’s been sitting on the lot for all this time?
