Does anyone know if it can be done via forscan?

He suggested that I run additional hot to + on water pump. Do not know if just running pump without activating wiper/spray arm would trigger anything. Guess just have to try?
I see. Sounds like an easy process but going through all those panels is tough too. I will definitely test this out much later on.

:). I knew someone will, sounds like a dumb thing to ask.

In winter after work when your windshield is full of ice and when you filled your windshield reservior with fluid with de-icer additive, you wanna make use of it. Mavericks have good spray that covers entire glass with fluid, you spray to let the de-icer do its work for a few minutes then you get out and scrape the ice. The de-icer helps a lot of breaking the ice enough to make it easy to scrape and save time. Wiping the windshield full of ice instantly destroy the wipers. So with auto the wiper, it wipes and destroy itself then removes the de-icer.

I had a 1995 acura where wipe and spray was independent but the spray was a stream that didnt help with distributing the fluid much. Back then I've always wanted a spray like the maverick to help de-ice quicker. I had the car for 15 winter seasons and not having auto wipe was great for winter.

Some auto features are great some are not. Im sure a normal human will wipe when the vision has been obscured. Only an idiot would not wipe because he didnt have auto wipe.
Ok, I am RETIRED, normally hibernate when it's icy. In the good old days, lived further north, I kept a gallon milk jug, filled it with COLD tap water, poured it slowly on windshield, thick ice take second jug!

Hello,

When spraying the windshield wiper fluid, the wiper wipes automatically. Does anyone know how to disable this where I can use them independently?

Thanks
A great way to remove bugs is with a wet dryer sheet. Then use Windex.

What's the reason for wanting to do this?
If the windshield is really covered with dust, dry-wiping it can scratch the glass. And oftentimes the wipers start scraping the glass before very much fluid has hit it. Or if the reservoir happens to be empty, you're gonna really scrape the glass until the wiper system goes through it's auto-wipe cycles.
