Diode Dynamics Backlighting on Lariat

im in stalling these on my lariat tremor. i purposely purchased the kit with amber backlight. i want the backlight on with the daytime runners. i cant seem to get them to work. as with the lariat and the full led front lamps the bcm doesnt appear to send power on the drl circuit. has anyone got these to work this way? id really rather not have ro put in a separate switch. i have searched the boards and am not finding anyting. i think they would work by tapping into the drl cicuit on an xlt headlight. help!?!

This might be obvious, but you know the DRLs aren't on when the vehicle is in park?

Sure do, only come on in drive and the light sensor isn’t calling for low beam headlamps

Simplest is fuse tap the under hood junction box. One of the PCM fuses works for EcoBoosts (on hybrids they're always hot) or something like the forward camera fuse.

Alternatively if you have FORScan you could configure the markers to come on as DRLs and tap them.
