Although I have placed order for Hybrid XLT AWD, I am still undecided b/w XLT and Lariat.

Maverick Hybrid AWD, Co-Pilot360 1.0 and Lux Pkg + Dest. Chrg = 35295

2.5L Hybrid Lariat - Spray in bed liner delete + Dest. Charge = 38035

Diff. = 2740

What am I getting more in Lariat?
DRL
Better looking seats
Co-Pilot 2.0
360 Camera
19inch wheels

I don't care about wheels, DRL and seats. But, CoPilot2 and 360 camera is something I'd love to have.
Is there any performance upgrade in mileage on 19 in wheels? Copilot 2 has ACC.
That 2740 diff could be 5 months of loan instalments..
Any other diff? thanks.

I am in the same boat; comparing the XLT Lux hybrid AWD with a Lariat.

Fuel economy, likely none to negligible at best. Low-profile tires will corner better due to less sidewall flex, but they ride harsher for the same reason and also cost more.

If Co-Pilot and the 360 camera are worth the extra $2,740 to you, then it makes sense to get the Lariat and the rest are nice-to-haves.

The snowballing effect/scope creep also makes me lean toward the Lariat versus the XLT Lux. There's a significant price gap between an XL hybrid AWD 4K tow and an XLT Lux hybrid AWD 4k tow, but the gap between the XLT and Lariat isn't as much.

My other consideration is that getting the seats reupholstered in real leather on the XLT Lux hybrid will cost about $2000 alone, so to get fancy vinyl plus the other stuff OEM leans in favor of the Lariat.

Don't forget the power sliding rear window, B&O sound system with SiriusXM and Nav, dual zone temp controls, front parking sensors, acoustic windshield, ambient lighting, LED Projector Headlamps. You really do get quite a lot for $2740. The big ones for me though are the ACC, with Co-Pilot Assist 2.0 and the 360 camera, oh and the power sliding rear window. Love the 360 camera on my Bronco.

Ultimately I decided to stay at XLT AWD Hybrid Lux because it was near the top of my budget, and personally I do not like the ActiveX material at all. I also prefer the smaller wheels because the roads in drive for my commute are horrendous, and the extra sidewall means a much more comfortable commute.

The B&O sound system, nicer headlights, and ACC are the only things that tempt me toward Lariat, but none of them are requirements for me.

I had the same exact debate, but when I was driving home a week ago on a 1hr highway hike, I decided I rather have the ACC then not.
