I understand Diamondback cost almost twice as the Lomax., but as far as keeping the bed dry, and durability is one better?
Any other pros/cons besides the price?
Wow quite pricey. I will stick with my $158 soft roll up cover from Amazon. Works great and have not noticed much water after a heavy rain or at the car wash.

You're not the target market if you're happy with a cheap soft rollup.

I'm partial to the Diamondback because it offers more utility. You can load it up and add racks if you need to. The lomax looks great because is super low profile but I'd go for the version that can open all the way up against the window. For both the DB and Lomax. I know that the DB is pretty water tight from the videos I've seen, but for both covers, the real benefit is the security. If you want water tightness so the bed is more like a cars trunk, check out a retractable bed cover.

Thanks for the input.
Retractable covers are pricey too...have seen mixed reviews abt the waterproof capability tho.
Any recomendations?

I love my lomax cover….keeps 98% of the rain out or when going thru a carwash.

For that price, I would get something that definitely folds all the way up so you can maximize bed space. I’m surprised that people will spend that much money for a truck bed cover that doesn’t offer that.

I like my DB. It gets a bit wet in the car wash. Not as much, since I had a buddy sit on the cover while I tightened it down. The security part of it is great.

On mine, it was leaking from the right front corner, mostly. Installer error. The installer was me.

you mean it was leaking from the tailgate corner (passenger side )?
What was the issue and how did you fix it?
Once again ....thank you very much!

Yeah it's already a tiny bed. I think people with trailers won't care though. Also, the only time I can see needing access to the entire bed is if you're buying large appliances or furniture and those are usually planned purchases. So removing the bed cover would be done ahead of time. Not super convenient but not the end of the world either.

Right front. By the cab. I got a friend of mine to sit on the corner while I tightened the bolts.

Maybe. I use mine all the time. I don’t want to have to take it off every time.
