Demco baseplate for 2025 LARIAT

If anyone has ordered and installed the new baseplate from Demco for the lariat model (model 9519366), could you measure the cuts and pieces that they have used to modify the existing for the regular Maverick model (without the lowered ACC unit). I have taken my Demco baseplate off my 2023 Mav and would like to modify to to fit my new 2025 Lariat.

I’ve added a picture of the new modification from Demco, which involves basically building around the ACC unit with steel.

Wow I’m surprised Demco did such a drastic modification to their base plate for the 2025 I installed the newly designed RoadMaster baseplate and it fit great without interference from the new ACC Radar location I was looking at Demco but could not wait on their engineering and I definitely avoided the BlueOx with their former miscue on the wide stance baseplate for earlier Maverick models - good luck with your modifications I hope it works out…

Yeah. The Roadmaster is sweet, but the destruction of the lower shutter system is something I would like to avoid. And the fact that I already have a baseplate from Demco!

Are you saying the Demco doesn’t require any modifications to the shudder system? I understand already having the Demco baseplate and wanting to repurpose it but after installing the Roadmaster and understanding the space there is to work with I say that will be a real challenge please post photos if you don’t mind once the installation is completed

This is a screen capture from the Demco instructions for installation. I contacted Kevin at Demco and he sent me this. It’s not yet posted on their website. It describes removing a couple of the shutter vanes to avoid contact when opening, but the structure of the shutter system is intact.

I removed 2 sets of shutters from my 2023 when I installed the previous model, and reinstalled them when I traded it in.

You have the newest version? I have one off my 2024 FWD Maverick only to realize I have to buy a new model. I ordered a Demco, but putting that on hold while I consider the Roadmaster. Not sure about those air vanes, though. Don't completely understand all that business.

I had to read a bit further in this conversation to grasp what you were saying you intended to do. Sounds like you're comfortable with metal work. I'm in your situation ... just without the same kind of skills or confidence. But I'll try to follow your progress with this project. Should I assume that you have seen this attachment from Demco?

I’m not sure what you mean by metal work. The shutters snap out easily, and the cutting done for the Demco baseplate is all plastic or rubber. I used an oscillating saw and tin cutting shears. I just followed the e-trailer video as the installation for the ‘25 lariat is almost identical to the previous model. Just the shutter vane removal number are different, i believe.
