Delivery ETA off?

I’m in Newark all the time all the time. I’ll take a peek around the yards for your Maverick. What dealer did you use? I ordered thru Maplecrest Ford in Union. We have almost the exact builds… even the color.

Ordered from a NY dealer. Leo Kaytes. Not sure how you could get into these yards. And it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Think it can hold like 10k cars.

Oh I know it. I think I offended my salesman when I text him asking does the finance person know about price protection and locked in interest rates or do I have to bring my videos and chat print outs.

Anyone had delivery way earlier than their Ford ETA? My ETA is Nov 20th. My truck is going from Mexico to Chicago, where it’ll come by truck to SE Iowa. It left Mexico Monday and it already left Kansas today. It is moving into and leaving yards within hours, feel like with it going to be in Chicago in a few days. I will get it close to 3 weeks before Ford ETA if everything goes the way it’s going already.

Mav original estimate was 10/31-11/6 and it arrived at the dealer last night - 10/26. Dealer is located in CT.

Yes with the way Ford handled it, it sucked. Price protection is via a memo Ford sent to dealers, finance rates in a computer program, last minute adm bs dealer add ons. Just wish everything was out in the open.

My ETA just got moved from Nov 18th to Nov 24th to a new ETA of Oct 30th - Nov 5th. Was finally shipped Oct 12th after being built Aug 30th and held up at the factory for i think the airbag. The Maverick is now in Chicago waiting for a truck i guess. This info was from Ford chat today.

I’m hoping that’s the case, my truck is off the train evening of 10/25 waiting for a truck to take it to the dealer, and my eta is Nov 14-20.

Mine went way out into late November, and then one night it updated to an eta that reflected it arriving that very next day. But… I have heard that there are logistical issues in parts of the country with drivers and what not. I hope it arrives soon!

You know what's so strange is that we contacted some of the major car hauler brokers (Montway, Amerifreight, Sherpa) because we are seriously considering having our truck shipped to us after it arrives at the dealer since we will be in another state and may not want to drive back up to the dealership.

Anyhow, all the brokers I talked to say they're having no problems finding car haulers to take the jobs. So who knows? Maybe the car haulers make less money delivering to the dealerships?

Mine has been in Kansas City off the train for a month now. I get a weekly email telling me my delivery date has been moved back. Prior to that it was in East St. Louis (25 miles from my house and dealer) for two weeks. At this point I may never get it. Went into production on 9/1 and shipped out on 9/15. No idea.
